Yes, we're coffee roasters, but we love anyone who's putting a little extra love and care into creating delicious beverages. That's why we're always down to partner with local microbreweries to concoct coffee-infused brews. Are you a brewer in need of coffee? Let us know how we can help!
Back in 2017, Brian and Lisa Ford, owners and operators of Auburn's prolifically-awarded pioneering craft brewery, generously invited us to serve coffee on their back patio for weekend brunch. Soon after, they also invited our coffee to join its beer in limited release coffee-infused brews like Hop Donkey.
When Knee Deep's brewmaster, Dean Roberts, shared his idea of toasting malts to blend with delicately roasted Central American coffees for a porter we quickly ran to their taproom to discuss. The result of our collaboration was "Philip McCup," a robust porter that poured Cola brown and was described as tasting like chocolate-covered coffee beans.
In fall of 2018, we roasted up a blend of Central American coffees -- Guatemala Huehuetenango & Peru Cajamarca -- for our friends at LBB. In fact, they're our neighbors, and neighbors share, so the collaboration was a no-brainer.
